Alida Mckeon

Jazz / Swing / Singer-Songwriter

Alida Mckeon is a singer, songwriter, and multi instrumentalist whose voice evokes the magical mellow warmth of vintage jazz singers. She brings an atmosphere of classic sophistication wherever she performs. She is originally from Oakdale, California but relocated to New England to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music, where she was awarded the Sylvia M. Zunz scholarship for jazz singers, the largest one granted by the voice department. She has performed internationally across Europe and in Japan, both as a solo artist and as a guest vocalist with the jazz group Yuki and Yoko Duo Project.

Her repertoire spans many genres, from classic jazz to rock and pop, all performed with a jazzy twist. Along with her group Swanky Panky, she can bring the ambience you’re looking for to your next event. Alida and Swanky Panky are available in whatever instrumentation suits your needs best. Starting with a foundation of piano and voice, you can add any combination of drums, upright bass, guitar, saxophone, and trumpet.
